An herbal remedy for insomnia is probably the most popular herbal remedy recommended in the Western Hemisphere today. With some 10 to 20 percent of America’s adult population claiming to have insomnia at some point, the search for relief is ongoing. Notice I said relief. It should be emphasized that only behavioral or psychological techniques can effectively cure insomnia, while prolonged use of sleeping pills can only lead to addiction. The main active ingredients in ginseng are the more than 25 triterpenoid saponin glycosides called “ginsenosides”. These steroid-like ingredients provide the adaptogenic properties that allow ginseng to balance and counter the effects of stress. Advantages; to reduce the effects of stress, increase energy levels, help with mental and bodily fatigue and maintain excellent bodily functions. An excellent herbal remedy for insomnia. It hits all targets.
